Press Briefing: Members of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care are calling for the NYPD to immediately investigate and arrest ALL of the individuals who committed a violent bias related assault of a Brooklyn High School student. On July 10th a Black Fort Hamilton High School student was viciously assaulted by a large group of individuals, some using pipes. The student reported that the violent individuals used derogatory racial epithets during the course of the assault. 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care spokesperson, Noel Leader, states “Clearly the crime should have been classified, investigated and prosecuted as a bias crime. The victim has not received justice because there are cowardly thugs on the loose and the Police Department is attempting to sweep this hate crime under the rug.”
