Press Briefing: Members of  “100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care” will hold a press conference to respond to the NYC City Council’s report on NYPD policing tactics.  The report released yesterday shows that the New York City Police Department stop and frisk minority citizens at a higher rate than other groups.  Members of 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement will re-new their calls for the U.S. Justice Department and NYS Attorney General to conduct an audit of NYPD procedures.  The group is also calling on NYC Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly to release a more accurate and complete breakdown of “Stop Question and Frisk Data.”
