Press Briefing: 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care is offering a 00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the knife assault of a teenager at Union Square on March 5, 2007. 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care along with Cops And Teens (C.A.T.) are offering their combined resources to assist the New York City Department of Education in formulating a Youth Outreach Initiative that will address the escalation of youth violence occurring throughout the City. 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care co-founder Noel Leader states, “We recognize that the current escalating trend of youth violence must be affirmatively addressed and we are offering our assistance in an effort to stem the tide of senseless and brutal assaults involving our young people. Both organizations have anti-violence programs that the Department of Education should utilize to provide a safer environment for our most precious resource, our children”
