100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care demands the immediate arrest and prosecution of Daniel Cicciaro for making death threats against Aaron White inside the Suffolk County Courthouse
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRESS STATEMENT: On March 19, 2008 inside the Suffolk County Courthouse immediately following the sentencing of John White, Mr. Daniel Cicciaro Sr. in a raging vitriolic statement to the press stated, “well see how they feel when Aaron has a bullet in is head” Mr. Cicciaro’s statement is a clear, unambiguous threat of death against John White’s son, Aaron. The bold courthouse pronouncement which was laced with profane language and broadcast by several television/radio stations and via the internet at a minimum amounts to aggravated harassment. 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care co-founder Marq Claxton stated “although we agree with the right to freedom of speech, Mr. Cicciaro’s inflammatory comments are not only illegal but are insightful in this highly sensitive racially charge case. Therefore we call for the immediate arrest of Mr. Daniel Cicciaro Sr. before the contents of his threats are enacted”.
